The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requires all teachers holding a Preliminary Credential to be enrolled in a Commission approved Teacher Induction Program.

Claremont Unified School District is a part of the Foothill Consortium Teacher Induction Program which supports new teachers and administrators in Claremont USD as well as those in West Covina, Charter Oak, Glendora and Bonita Unified School Districts to earn their Clear Credential. Foothill Consortium is committed to providing a meaningful, job embedded induction experience for all enrolled candidates. Through collaboration with a trained mentor, teacher induction candidates will receive assistance with all aspects of their classroom practice. Administration candidates will work with a trained coach to receive assistance with all aspects of their leadership practice.

The Foothill Consortium Induction Program (FCIP) is a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) approved Induction Program supporting new teachers and administrators in clearing their Preliminary Teaching Credential.
